Florio Kenny Raval, LLP Successfully Defends Property Tax Assessments Totaling $4.8 million

NJ Property Tax Litigation

Florio Kenny Raval, LLP recently prevailed in tax-appeal litigation, successfully defending three years of property tax assessments totaling more than $4.8 million.

At trial, the firm argued that there were a number of significant flaws in the analysis of Plaintiff’s expert. The Tax Court rejected Plaintiff’s conclusion that the property should be assessed for only $120,000 in each year and entered judgments affirming the property tax assessments. Plaintiff then filed an appeal of the Tax Court’s decision.

On appeal, the firm successfully defended the municipality in the Appellate Division of the Superior Court, which ultimately affirmed the Tax Court’s decision, upholding the property tax assessments.
